Bacon_Donut, also known as BaconDonutTV, is an American Twitch broadcaster and a founding member of N3RDFUSION. He appeared as a guest in Mindcrack Ultra Hardcore Season 22, and appeared in episode 136 of the Mindcrack Podcast. He has attended numerous conventions with the Mindcrackers, including MineCon 2013, PAX Prime 2014, PAX South 2015, PAX East 2015, MineCon 2015 and PAX Prime 2015, and was supposed to appear as a guest in the 2014 Mindcrack Marathon UHC #ForTheKids event, but did not show up on time.[3][4]

Biography[edit]

Bacon was born and raised in Kentucky.[5] He was previously a web developer for 13 years, before becoming a fulltime livestreamer in May 2013.[6] In June 2015, he moved to Seattle, Washington.[7][8]

Twitch career[edit]

Bacon was included in The Daily Dot's ten most defining Twitch streamers of 2014.[9] In November 2015, he did his first livestream from his BaconAfterDark (BAD) Twitch channel for mature content.[10][11]

On 23 June 2020, Bacon Donut announced on Twitter that he was retiring from streaming full time.[12]

Personal life[edit]

Bacon was married circa December 1999.[13] He has three children, the most recent of which was born in December 2014.[14] On 27 June 2015, Bacon revealed that he and his wife had been separated since late the previous year, and were filing for divorce.[15] The divorce was finalized in January 2016; Bacon spoke of how the separation negatively impacted his content in 2015.[16]

  • According to N3RDFUSION's TwitchCon 2015 panel, Bacon has contemplated legally changing his personal name to "Bacon Donut".[17]
