I've been thinking of making a page that collects and explains the origins of well known/often used sayings on the server (Get to the damn land, Shirts!, VintageBeef, Get a ___ job!, etc.) I'd like some feedback, particularly on:

  • The title (Expressions and Sayings are the two I can think of)
  • The format (A table, a page like Cats, etc.)

A page for phrases formatted in a table would be fine. If a phrase is too long to fit in a table (I expect VB to not fit), then the phrase can have its own page but with an entry in the table directing to the page.--Admin 01:22, 4 August 2012 (CEST)
Phrase First user Description
Get a X job BdoubleO100(add reference) Used as an insult to the mobs. First used as "get a rock job," includes many variations like ...
Popsic PauseUnpause(add reference) Used to mean Bread.
How about a format like the T3 Project? That would allow for longer descriptions. --Atharsea 06:37, 4 August 2012 (CEST)
VintageBeef Use: Death by falling First user: (need to watch video!)(Ref)
This saying originated when VintageBeef died by falling to his death in Season 2(ref) after going for a long period without dying. The terms "Doing a VintageBeef," "Beefing it up" and "Doing a Beef" are in common usage throughout the server. For a time the servers death message was changed to read "PLAYER did a VintageBeef"(ref) when someone died by falling. This confused several participants in "Race For The Wool #2" who were not members of the MindCrack server(ref).
If a description is that long, it's probably better for the phrase to have its own page.--Admin 07:43, 4 August 2012 (CEST)
I guess it could work, Is there a naming convention that should be used for the main page and any offshoot pages? Atharsea 21:42, 4 August 2012 (CEST)
The primary page should be titled "Phrases." For VB, you could use "Did a VintageBeef" as the title since the death message was shown like that. Other phrases seem self-explanatory in their naming. If you're unsure or if there's disagreement with the naming, we will discuss it here.--Admin 22:50, 4 August 2012 (CEST)

Genderbends[edit]

I created a page for Mindcrack genderbends, as I figured it may as well have one with how popular they are. Now I wish to add it to the Miscellaneous pages list. How do I do so? Davrial 14:51, 17 April 2014 (CEST)
