The nineteenth season of Mindcrack Ultra Hardcore is a fight to the death between two teams of ten. Similar to Season 14, the season makes use of a Mumble plugin for proximity based voice chat. Players were scattered across the map and had to find teammates before they could work together. Players were encouraged to not mute their microphones or use the in-game chat. The team colors were originally going to be red and blue, but they were changed to aqua and light purple to prevent having one team be more visible.
The first episode was released on 8 December 2014. The intro used by most participants was made by W92Baj, featuring the song "Far Away" by MK2, though mcgamer used the song "Clenched Teeth" by Kevin MacLeod. kurtmac used his own intro, featuring the song "Lagoa v2", also by Kevin MacLeod.
As part of a Patreon milestone, mcgamer wore an Oculus Rift for the duration of the match. Coestar experienced difficulties with his microphone, forcing him to record post-match commentary.
Teams[edit]
This season featured 20 Mindcrackers, and included no guests. This was OMGchad's first season as a member of the Mindcrack Server. The teams were officially known as Red Team and Blue Team, though they were also called Team Magma and Team Aqua in reference to the villainous factions from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and as Aqua Team and Purple Team on the subreddit UHC postings. The blue team was also referred to as Team Ninjas in Pajamas by Millbee, and Team Aquard (a play on the word "awkward") by SethBling.

Controversies[edit]
The Nether[edit]
Natural health regeneration was accidentally left on in the Nether. Some players benefited from the bug, while others intentionally damaged themselves once in the Overworld to remove the health that was regenerated. Some viewers question the legitimacy of the winning team's win because of their use of the bug while others argue that both teams had this advantage to use despite the fact that one team was originally near death while the other had health potions rendering the regeneration essentially useless. All players involved in the final battle of the season were fully healed as a result of this bug.
Portal Trapping[edit]
Two players used lava to trap the Nether portal in the Overworld, and one in the Nether, which lead to two players' deaths and forced another to remain in the Nether fearing the trap would kill him if he tried to leave. He remained trapped in the Nether for over an hour while hoping for some of his teammates to rescue him. The Mindcrackers have decided to ban lava portal trapping in future seasons, stating that it results in boring content and unsatisfying kills.[2]
