PocketMomo, also known simply as Momo, is a Let's Play commentator and a former inactive member of the defunct MindCrack Fan Server. She joined the server on July 2012. Her last video published on 26 January 2013.[1]

Biography[edit]
Momo has revealed her name to be Pippa. The name Momo comes from her character in an MMO game. She was invited to a guild and would bring peach pies to people. When the guild needed more healers, Momo created one and wanted to name the character based on peach pie - MomoPai. Momo is Japanese for peach and Pai was used to match the naming style of momo. People called her Momo ever since and the name stuck.[2]
Momo's favorite book genre is sci-fi fantasy. She likes books with twists and turns. Her favorite author was Garth Nix.[3] Momo discovered Minecraft through her best friend. She was given the game as a Christmas gift in 2011.[4]

Momo's Minecraft series is unique among her videos. In caves and in the Nether, an echo sound effect is used. The aim of the sound effects is to make her episodes more immersive.[4] Music from incompetech is played in the background throughout the video. Momo was featured on iHasCupquake's "Gamer of the Week,"[5] boosting her subscriber count dramatically.
MindCrack Fan Server[edit]
Momo was invited to the server by Morgwen, darkphan, and Jason27, after having played MineZ, a server-side Minecraft mod, with them.[6] Before the 1.5 map reset, she had a plot in the Greenwood neighborhood of Blockhaven. Her ongoing project was building a giant castle on a cloud above her plot. She had settled at her remote base, relatively close to AlphaStars' remote base, but had not developed anything on it.
