Ruins Of The Mindcrackers

Ruins Of The Mindcrackers is a custom Minecraft map made by redditor Joelx1000 (known on the Minecraft Forums as GnomeStyle). This "complete the monument" style map features portions of the MindCrack Members' bases from the map download. A sequel was released with builds from a more recent download of the MindCrack season 3 map.

Ruins Of The Mindcrackers[edit]

Joel released the map to selected beta tested on 14 February 2013,[1] and later released publicly on 20 February 2013.[2] The map was created using the September 2012 map download of the Season 3 map.

Team Canada[edit]

Etho, PauseUnpause and VintageBeef tackle the map together as Team Canada. Due to an error in the server settings, portions of the map was played with natural mob spawns turned off.[3] The title card used in VintageBeef's videos was created by MCPE_Master_Builder on Reddit.[4]

Team Dank[edit]

Arkas and Pyro_0 formed as Team Dank for their playthrough of the map. They played on normal difficulty with the death counter enabled.[5]

Ruins Of The Mindcrackers 2[edit]

Joel first previewed the map on 24 March 2013.[6] Ruins Of The Mindcrackers 2 was released to selected beta testers on 7 June 2013,[7] and later released publicly on 1 July 2013.[8]

Ruins Of The Mindcrackers 3[edit]

Joel first made mention of RotM 3 in a Reddit post made on 26 July 2013.[9] On 7 August 2014, Joel asked for community suggestions while waiting for a Season 4 map download.[10] He first previewed parts of the map on 9 August 2014 after the final Season 4 map download was released the same day.[11]
