German pronunciation

To any German speakers, I would appreciate if you would correct the inevitable errors I made in phonetically typing Docm's surname, Mössner. Specifically, the umlaut "ö" and the "ss" sound. Thanks. Mgt98 (talk) 18:03, 6 June 2014 (CEST)

I've made slight adjustments to the pronunciation key for Doc's surname. This site says the ö sound is like the 'er' sound in 'fern' and this Wikipedia article says the sound is roughly like 'ur' in 'hurt' so I've kept using the German IPA symbol, œ, for that sound.

In the "Beruf: Computerspieler" article published about Doc, it sounds as if the reader says the "ss" as "sh", almost reading "mösh ner". I'm not sure if there is actually a difference between the German "ss" sound and how I would interpret that sound, but there doesn't appear to be. Thoughts? -Mgt98 (talk) 13:39, 22 June 2014 (CEST)
