My recent edits[edit]
Hi Mgt,
I appreciate that you are making sure what I add to this wiki keeps consistent with the existing standard. Looking back at this past week or so, I haven't been very careful with my edits...especially this one!
I just wanted to thank you for your patience, and to apologize for the trouble. I'll try to be more observant from now on. :) --Aejrogota (talk) 08:21, 16 May 2014 (CEST)
- "especially this one!" Haha do you want Avidya off the server? Is this your intentions? :P
- I'm sure all of the regular contributors at the wiki appreciate your contributions. I regularly check the Recent Changes and I want to contribute like you. :) Don't be apologizing or anything like that. Wikis grow because users build upon other users' edits. :) Mgt98 (talk) 10:31, 16 May 2014 (CEST)
- You see, I'm trying to make people realize that we don't have a new MindCracker. Avidya has revealed her true identity to the server! :P
- I am simply following spacey_MC's lead with regards to keeping the wiki consistent. :) Spacey formats references as
Author (Date). "Title". Publisher. <url>.
See the Help page for more details. Also, I see you're using the MM/DD/YY date format, as used in America. The wiki uses DD/MM/YY, so I assume Spacey is from part of the world that uses this format, as am I. So, for example, 29 February 2012, instead of February 29, 2012. I ask that you renew the edits I made regard Hermitcraft player names, as they had recently been changed and therefore the wiki should stay current.
- The players' Minecraft usernames are listed as what they were at the time, as seen on the MindCrack Ultra Hardcore page. --Mgt98 (talk) 17:53, 16 April 2015 (CEST)
- I figured it should be changed in order to aboid confusion now that they have changed their names.
- But then the names wouldn't match the names in the videos at all. Will that cause even more confusion? On a website like this, old names can be redirected to the pages of new names.--Admin 19:13, 17 April 2015 (CEST)
Jsano Fan Server[edit]
Heyas MGT
I know I asked on the reddit about the JsanoFanServer page, I thought I would do a small separate page for everyone and have a JFS core page just like Mindcrack and Hermitcraft. Feel free to edit and add to it.
Thanks 1039213
- I'm interested in seeing what the other regular contributors of this wiki think of this idea. --Mgt98 (talk) 07:44, 18 April 2015 (CEST)
- Ok, I will start by making a page and will ask all the members of the server for additional information for the wiki. But is there a video for me to show how to import pictures/skins or do tables?
Thanks, 1039213

Uhh MGT, even though mega said that i shouldnt do the page, can i still do it, I will have a lot of fun doing it. -1039213
- The general objection may be due to a lack of collaborations between members of the JSano Fan Server and other documented Let's Players on this wiki. Could you create a sandbox page for iSuchtel given his minor collabs with brianmcn and JSano in the past? --Mgt98 (talk) 12:16, 3 May 2015 (CEST)
What's going on?[edit]
I am noticing in the recent changes log that you are deleting a few accounts due to spamming. Is the wiki being targeted or something?
- I'm not sure why's there's been a slight increase as of late, but yes, there has been a few spammy pages created by bots. --Mgt98 (talk) 16:24, 24 April 2015 (CEST)
- Sometimes the wiki gets a surge of spam bots but it has always ebbed out. The measures currently in place seems to deter a vast majority of them. There were a lot of spam when the site was young.--Admin 07:20, 27 April 2015 (CEST)
Request for removal[edit]
Hello,
Seeing as how I am no longer a member of Mindcrack (or Hermitcraft). I would like to have this page removed. Particularly, I'd prefer (for security reasons) not to have my real name and other sensitive information on this site.
If you need me to verify that I am Generikb just let me know how (YT msg probably the best I would imagine)
Thank you
- I have messaged you on Reddit. -Mgt98 (talk) 03:22, 21 August 2015 (CEST)
Weird, I saw the new message alert but when I clicked there was nothing there...please try again?
- Could you possibly message me? My Reddit username is mgt98. -Mgt98 (talk) 09:49, 21 August 2015 (CEST)
Distinguishing between inactive and completed LPs[edit]
Within each Mindcracker's list of LPs, we should be distinguishing between inactive and completed LPs, as inactive implies that the LP is unfinished, while for many of the LPs in the lists they are finished. 73.168.5.183 18:19, 24 October 2015 (CEST)
- I think the Let's Play section needs to be remodeled. It really doesn't include information about Twitch streaming schedules, and the growing list of games is becoming obnoxious. -mgt98 (talk) 23:43, 24 October 2015 (CEST)
Seth's last name[edit]
Although a silly request to hide his last name, I can respect that, but is there a reference to him asking for that? I believe there was a Twitch VOD but that is no longer accessible. Additionally, he knowingly publicised his last name at Minecon 2013, was that before or after he asked for it to be kept hidden? Personally I would keep it here anyway despite his request because it was not accidentally leaked, but I know that is a controversial opinion, so I can respect removing it.
- Yes, he had asked that once when he was livestreaming and people were spamming his name in the chat - I believe that was in mid-2014. I agree that him willingly sharing his surname then wanting to take it back is obscure. Here at MineCon 2012, his name was spelt with a 'ck'. -- mgt98 (talk) 21:56, 13 January 2016 (CET)
Meow[edit]
Just wanted to ask why you reverted the mindcrack page edition I did. Are fan-uploads of VoDs not accepted around these parts? I've seen many people complain about twitch-only VoDs, because the player doesn't work for them. Mitsunee (talk) 02:49, 8 March 2016 (CET)
- Sorry I didn't mean to click on the revert button. Even then, I'm not sure how I feel about content being uploaded 'unofficially'. Feel free to revert my revert though. mgt98 (talk) 09:02, 8 March 2016 (CET)
Mindcrack Survival Island[edit]
Hi, keep up the gr8 work mate.
Are you gonna do posts on whats going on in each episode of Surviving Mindcrack Island???
Would Like to knowm
~1039213
- Yes absolutely. My Internet was out recently and I've been busy with school, but it's definitely something I plan to do. mgt98 (talk) 06:32, 23 March 2016 (CET)
Sorry[edit]
Hey mgt98
Sorry about my bad editing, can you please add deaths to UHC 23 and fix up the table in UHC most kills. THanks
Why all the Reverts?[edit]
Hello, Mgt98.
Some time ago, somebody on your talk page suggested here that the LP section of Mindcrackers be revamped. You replied that it is a good idea, and that in fact it should be taken further. That was more than half an year ago, and no action has been taken then or since.
Yesterday, I have started the process of revamping the LP section, adding in an ending date, a finished status, and criteria for distinguishing between active, inactive, and finished LPs, and have updated three Mindcrackers' articles, Mhykol, Sethbling, and AvidyaZEN. The reasons are multifaceted. First, there are a number of series from a long time ago that are labelled "inactive" in the majority of Mindcrackers' LP section, which are less "inactive" and more "finished". For example, does anybody really expect for Avidya to suddenly join back with Coestar, PaulSoaresJr, and davidyt64, the last of whom has disappeared off the face of the planet, and decide to finish their Terraria series that they left incomplete in 2011? Secondly, the Mindcrackers have finished Feed the Beast and Garry's Mod, and there have been official statements by the Mindcrackers saying that the series are finished, so those series should be marked as "finished" rather than "inactive". Finally, there is a large discrepancy in what is an "active" and "inactive" series between the pages of Mindcrackers, so I tried to define a standard by which we can define "active", "inactive", and "finished" series.
However, this afternoon, I came up here to further contribute to this wiki, and I find most of my changes to this wiki have been reverted. Since you seem to be the person behind the reverts, I would like an explanation as to why my changes were reverted, and if there is a better method of cleaning up, updating, and standarising the wiki, or if the status quo as of right now is great and there is no need for modifications.
Thanks,

- I admire you dedication to keeping the wiki updated and thank you for that. I reverted your edits as my long-term plan was to phase out the ever-growing table of Let's Plays found on each of the members' pages. However, I do now see that your new method of categorising LPs is more effective in displaying information about a particular series; feel free to revert my reverts. Ultimately, I think I would prefer that the Let's Play section of each page is in written form, somewhat similar to the ones found on Coestar's and HCJustin's pages. -mgt98 (talk) 09:18, 19 August 2016 (CEST)
