Hi Fenhl,

I clicked on the link to your website and I noticed that you are a fan of worldbuilding and conlanging. Since I seldom meet people like that in any sort of setting, I thought I'd take the opportunity to say that I think it is very impressive. I don't have a background in linguistics but I have experimented with both worldbuilding and conlanging as well, albeit much more informally. My username on this website actually also is derived from a conlang. :)

When I started conlanging, I didn't have a background in linguistics either. On the contrary, I actually got into linguistics through conlanging. If you're looking for conlanging-related communities, I'd recommend checking out the ##conlang IRC channel, and FrathWiki. Oh and my username is also from a conlang.
