Best way to handle trolls?[edit]

I happened to notice the that 24.222.127.192 had added an opinion to Pause's page, and I reverted it because I didn't think it was appropriate. I don't want to step on your toes or do something that violates procedures on this wiki, so please let me know if there is something I should or should not do. Thanks! --Atharsea 14:26, 20 June 2012 (-7 GMT)

I would consider that as fanboyism and not trolling since trolling means to incite anger or harass. Undoing inappropriate edits like what you have done is the correct action. I often look at the recent changes list so I will notify you if you have done something wrong.--Admin 22:49, 20 June 2012 (CEST)
Shouldnt the speculation/opinions of users be dicussed on the talk pages if the user is unsure of details? It is probably best to keep speculation/user opinions to the talk pages to avoid misleading members of the public which is what '24.222.127.192' should have done. Eatcake (talk) 11:53, 12 September 2013 (CEST)
Not in this case. Talk pages are meant to discuss the content of the page, like disputing it or improving it and such. It's not meant for casual conversations like that. A forum should be the place to express those kinds of opinions about someone. I'm thinking of creating a forum using phpBB for this site.--Admin 16:17, 12 September 2013 (CEST)

Prank wars database[edit]

The system seems like its really working well!! Did you use Semantic MediaWiki to make it work, or something else? Will the internal database be on the Prank wars page, or on a separate page? The one suggestion I have is to increase the width of the date column so it will display on a single line. It might also be a good idea to put the list of the members Minecraft names (along with the instructions for adding a new prank?) on the Editing help page, because I'm probably not the only one who forgets which letters are capitalized, etc. Let me know if you want me to make an editing help page, when the database is ready to put the rest of the pranks in, or there is anything else I can do to help.--Atharsea 19:10, 21 June 2012 (-7 GMT)

Can the date column be a fixed width? For me the date shows on two lines unless the window is stretched onto both my monitors. I was thinking that the list might be more legible if the text can be aligned to the top of the row, especially on the pranks with views, and it would probably look good on the regular video tables too. I don't know where those style settings are stored, so I wasn't able to test it out. I noticed that the pranks i added to the database on the prank wars page show up there, but not on the test page. The newer pranks did apear in a a list with only a victim. I'm not sure why that is happening, or if it will be a problem later. On the All pranks page I did a test for selecting pranks within a date range (so the pranks can be separated between worlds) which seams to work.--Atharsea 22:53, 21 June 2012 (-7 GMT)
Thanks for adding in the sort by date for me. I think I've added all the pranks, and checked that I wasn't missing any that had been recorded on individual prank pages before I linked them back to the internal database. I'm not sure what to do about the headers that specify which world the pranks took place in them, some people need them, but it clutters up the others. Maybe it would work to have it for everyone, but as bold text instead of a header? Let me know what you think. I really like how the top align looks on the prank videos, can that be done with a global change for the regular videos, or does it need to be defined at each table instance?--Atharsea 21:41, 22 June 2012 (-7 GMT)

Link Update[edit]

Thanks for letting me know, at least its a relatively easy fix. I'll start working on updating the links. Atharsea 06:54, 17 July 2012 (CEST)

server ip[edit]

may please know the server address so that i may go on thanks BUBBAS_HERE

The server is a private. You cannot get in without an invitation by one of the members already there.--Admin 20:48, 22 July 2012 (CEST)

Quick Question[edit]

Should I add the Ender Dragon fight to any of the Mindcrackers' video list, or should I just skip it? --~Mega 11:37, 2 September 2012 (CEST)

Look at existing pages for example, like Guude's list of videos.--Admin 11:40, 2 September 2012 (CEST)

Alright, here's another one, (:P) Mindcrack at Dusk; should I add it to MC's video section? Technically, it's one of his shows on Mindcrack and it's on YouTube. =/ (Just doesn't have a Playlist.) --~Mega 14:21, 5 September 2012 (CEST)

Any video recorded on the server should be included in the list of videos. Look at Nebris' list of videos and you will see even Twitch livestreams are listed.--Admin 01:53, 6 September 2012 (CEST)

Team B's Trial[edit]

Shall we add a page to the "Events" category regarding Team B's Trial? I'd say it would be notable an event to create a page for.--~Mega 11:41, 6 September 2012 (CEST)

If you can type more than one sentence about it, sure. It's probably better to have just a B Team page and list everything about it there. Don't title their team as "Team B" though.--Admin 12:53, 6 September 2012 (CEST)

Minecraft skin pictures[edit]

Alright, I give up, haha. How do you get those pictures of everyone's minecraft skin? I've been trying to duplicate the same kind of image for maybe an hour, but It's just not the same. How do you do it?

EDIT: Alright, thanks for clearing that up. Should be a LOT easier to get these skin images now :) -Cobra

Damnit! What did he say?! --~Mega 07:11, 9 September 2012 (CEST)

Why does it matter? You can view the history of the page if you want.--Admin 07:19, 9 September 2012 (CEST)

Names & Locations[edit]

Alright, an anonymous source (Literally, he / she messaged me on Reddit saying "You didn't hear it from me." and deleted his / her account before I could see it.) sent me the location and full name of Guude. (I also got Pyrao's full name from one of his personal friends.) I was just wondering if we should post it on the Wiki, considering they both haven't revealed it publically yet.--~Mega 00:13, 17 September 2012 (CEST)

If personal information cannot be referenced, it does not belong here.--Admin 00:20, 17 September 2012 (CEST)

Well, Guude's was from what looked like a domain registration for mindcracknetwork.com. (It showed his full name and address.) And Pyrao's was from his Facebook page.--~Mega 00:42, 17 September 2012 (CEST)

This topic was explained in the rules page. Try not to use places where personal information cannot be controlled, like a domain's record. Information from their personal Facebook pages are fine, but fan-made ones aren't. Although the MindCrack folks are public figures, if they themselves aren't providing the information, then we should respect their choice and also not provide the information. The Internet allows the ability to access personal information that has the potential to reveal all aspects their entire lives. This website should not be part of that.--Admin 01:14, 17 September 2012 (CEST)

MindCrack vs. HermitCraft: Cube Control[edit]

Although this isn't technically "MindCrack," I think we should include this as a semi-major event. I've already made a template for the page (I'm nearly done with it.) so I just need confirmation. --Mega 22:05, 8 October 2012 (CEST)

Yes, I will allow it.--Admin 22:53, 8 October 2012 (CEST)

IRL pictures[edit]

Are there desired sizes/sources for pictures of members who have chose to share that information? I figure I should see about adding Pyrao and Millbee, since they have shared their faces frequently, and there may be more as MineCon progresses. Atharsea 01:17, 24 November 2012 (CET)

Any size would be fine. The way I do it, I take the largest available size and shrink it to 800/640px wide to hide the poor qualities of the image.--Admin 06:56, 24 November 2012 (CET)

Hey, man[edit]

Admid, how'd you get that picture of woolopolis?

Accurate member counts/attributes?[edit]

There are several members of the MindCrack fan server who share a page (Entscast, The Mob Cave & AshMJ). This makes sense because of the way they run their channels, but it makes for inaccurate information/totals when the membership is queried. Is there some way to link a property to one member, can their redirect pages be added to the Members category and have a list of the relevant properties, or is there another method that can be used? Atharsea 05:29, 14 January 2013 (CET)

Semantic MediaWiki doesn't seem to work in redirected pages. Check out Thegardnerd's page for changes.--Admin 06:17, 14 January 2013 (CET)
Ok, your solution seems like it should work well, I'll update the rest of the pages, and change the links on the fan Server page so they link to their main page. Thanks! Atharsea 07:02, 14 January 2013 (CET)

Team Property[edit]

I'd like to add a "Team" property to the members infobox to list the teams that they are in. I thought about trying to copy one of the other infobox properties, but I don't think it would work right. One of the reasons I want to add this is to be able to filter the query on the Team America page so it only lists potential members that haven't joined, rather than all members from the United States. I think it could be done with a query like this:

but this would require each team a member is a part of to be a sperate property definition, and I don't know how I would get that to display in a single section in the infobox. Is this something you can do/point me in the direction of where there is more information on setting up such a property? Thanks Atharsea 04:20, 18 January 2013 (CET)

Properties defined within the special prank database can't be used along with regular properties in other pages. If you want a "Team" property added to each member page, then I will remove the "Joined team" property from the prank page. I don't want to add "Team" to the infobox. The infoboxes I created are meant to show the general biography of the person. Teams are too specific to MindCrack and can just be added within the page like many other properties.--Admin 10:27, 18 January 2013 (CET)
Thanks for changing the property type. I do disagree about the placement of the property, because I think the teams a member is a part of should be viewable at a glance. How members join, or how the team was formed is covered on the Teams page, and the pages for each team. It is redundant to explain how the person joined in two places. If you don't want the infobox, can I at least change it to a list under the MindCrack heading? (Guude is a member of OOG, OOGE and Team Nancy Drew.) --Atharsea 17:23, 18 January 2013 (CET)
If you feel that teams are that important, I will allow them to be placed in the heading.--Admin 00:57, 19 January 2013 (CET)

Updating Spawn Village Page[edit]

paylsoaresjr has just recently joined the server and has created a "Hobbit Hole" as his spawn town base. If someone could add a picture to the spawn town page that would be great.

No update on the map download means no update to any map-related pages.--Admin 08:02, 2 April 2013 (CEST)

Potential Return of Pictures[edit]

I've noticed the announcement atop the page. I don't fully understand the mechanism relating to bandwidth but I still would like to ask. Will it be likely that images will return some time in the near future? --134.139.216.34 09:07, 23 April 2013 (CEST)

AlterVista imposes a monthly limit on the amount of bandwidth one can use. Once the limit is passed, the site becomes inaccessible for the rest of the month. Disabling images can prevent that from happening.--Admin 09:21, 23 April 2013 (CEST)

Joining the FTB server[edit]

Hello, My son would like to join the FTB server. We tried to download the FTB mod pack but could not get it to run. He is interested in playing on a FTB server. He watches Etho and really likes the FTB server design. We thought he could join a server with the mod packs already installed. Can he be added to your server? Are there any rules or requirements?

Thanks,

Carmine

You obviously don't know how a wiki works, we are not the MindCrackers, nor do we have the authority to give someone the IP to either server. You cannot get onto either server by asking, it is whitelisted and only available to active Minecraft Let's Players or personal friends of the members. --Mega (talk) 06:07, 5 August 2013 (CEST)
Hello Carmine,
It is good of you to ask but as Mega has said, we have no authority here and the MindCrackers have made it clear that they will only accept new players in limited circumstances. I am sorry to hear that the modpack itself does not work when downloaded. This may or may not be helpful, but this link should take you to information about the MindCrack-specific version of FTB (Edit: Keep in mind that your MindCrack FTB modpack must be uploaded when your son's version of Minecraft is set at version 1.4.7, which is quite a ways back from the current version.). A good place to ask would be the MindCrack subreddit—you would have to create an account first—but you should not ask if you can get your son on the MindCrack server per se...It would be better to ask the question that you did here and proceed with dialogue accordingly. I cannot guarantee that the community will act in a friendly manner—they tend not to act so cordially when people ask about getting on a MindCrack-related server—but it might be worth a shot.
Best of luck and hopefully your son can find what he is looking for. --Aejrogota (talk) 06:40, 5 August 2013 (CEST)
Actually r/feedthebeastservers or r/feedthebeast would be the reddits to try asking about servers, or for help on getting the single player launcher to work. r/mindcrack is not for posts related to the Feed the Beast modpack, including any technical support. --Atharsea (talk) 15:58, 5 August 2013 (CEST)

Spammer[edit]

Hello Admin,

Would it be possible to rescind the editing privileges of this IP? He's vandalized Etho's page twice this past week. --Aejrogota (talk) 09:10, 6 August 2013 (CEST)

Update the picture of Shree[edit]

Here: http://i.imgur.com/gGsV38F.jpg is an updated picture of Shree.

Does Shree himself want to use that picture here?--Admin 19:00, 7 August 2013 (CEST)
I asked him and he said it was okay -greenpencil.

Page names and titles[edit]

Hey,

I would just like to address two things related to pages and page titles.

1. monkeyfarm should no longer be at HermitCraft/monkeyfarm. He should be moved to monkeyfarm similarly Dinnerbone, generikb, and bdubs, all members of both servers. A discussion has been started at Talk:HermitCraft/monkeyfarm.

2. Members' builds should all be listed on their /builds page and should not have their own individual pages. Docm77/builds lists his Witch Farm (S4) and his Tree House (S3). It has no information about where the build is, when it was built or what map it was on. Neither of the builds have their own page and there is essentially no information on either build.

Etho/builds is slightly more structured but not how I would imagine it. It divides his builds into what map they were on but does not expand on the builds any further than that. Etho's season 3 base has its own page and all the information is there, but might be slightly harder to find. The page name isn't very specific.

I can make an example page in a sandbox if you would like to see what I mean.

Thanks,

Mgt98 (talk) 09:27, 7 October 2013 (CEST)

This should've been discussed in the associated talk pages. I was not the one who edited Docm's build page. If someone out there can provide more than a line of information about a build, then individual pages are acceptable, like the Royal Observatory for example. If you can provide a better layout on how to improve these pages, then go ahead. My original design was similar to Pakratt0013/builds and I just stopped there. Any other changes were made by others, including Docm's and Etho's pages. I left them all alone for others to edit.--Admin 07:12, 13 October 2013 (CEST)
Thanks for the reply. I will attempt to fix build pages to an appropriate level. I did not start this conversation on associated talk pages because the conversation would span across multiple talk pages. Mgt98 (talk) 07:30, 13 October 2013 (CEST)
Categories do have their own talk pages if you didn't know (i.e. Category talk:Structures).--Admin 07:33, 13 October 2013 (CEST)

Queries and Subcategories[edit]

All of the pages that are using queries that included are showing database errors. I removed or commented out that part of the query on Teams (the first one I noticed) and on two of the pages I think probably have higher traffic (FAQ and MindCrack) but it is still a problem on others, including MindCrack Server. I think it is tied to adding subcategories because we added them recently for the members category, and it produces an error identical to the one I was getting when trying to create a query within the structures category awhile ago. At the time Structures was already a top level category with subcategories. If theres not a easy fix for the categories and subcategories to work in queries, I think adding the "Page is" property to all the member pages might be a way to weed out results like Hermitcraft/BdoubleO100, but I haven't tested it yet. If that does work perhaps it could be added to the name property in the infobox to propagate it out to multiple pages quickly, or maybe the bot could figure out where to add it in? Let me know how I can assist. --Atharsea (talk) 07:22, 26 November 2013 (CET)

I worked around the error. There is a setting in SMW that allows subcategories to be ignored. I just tried it out and it worked on my end. Let me know if the problem persists after undoing the changes.--Admin 07:33, 26 November 2013 (CET)
I will think about a better solution to issues around that later on when I have more time.--Admin 08:07, 26 November 2013 (CET)

Is there a way to get on the server?[edit]

Is there a certain criteria you must achieve to have access to become white listed on the server or can we do some support such as donating a large amount towards the server to get onto it? It has been a question that has come up for me a lot and I wish it can be answered. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Sincerely, ChiefDread2; Mediocre YouTuber and intermediate redstoner.

If you've at least browsed this site, the minimum is to already be friends with the people on the server to be invited on.--Admin 07:45, 29 November 2013 (CET)

Requests[edit]

Hey,

I just wanted to requests a mass edit for the Bot. Is it possible to move all Fan Server related skins and avatars from Category:Members to Category:Fan Server members?

Secondly, it would really be appreciated if you could make a template that easily links to UHC seasons. "UHC13" would link to MindCrack Ultra Hardcore/Season 13, making much quicker to type out. I looked at other templates but couldn't understand how to do it.

Thanks! Mgt98 (talk) 07:14, 24 December 2013 (CET)

A redirect can be created from UHC13 to MindCrack Ultra Hardcore#Season 13.--Admin 07:19, 24 December 2013 (CET)

Hermitcraft Member Timeline[edit]

I see a very informative timeline on this wiki listing the members of the MindCrack server and when they joined but I cannot find the same information for HermitCraft. Does such a page exist? If not, can it be created?

Such page does not exist yet. It can be created if one wants to.--Admin 19:11, 10 January 2014 (CET)

A page has been messed with[edit]

Someone has messed with the Mindcrack prank wars page. Just FYI.

If you see vandalism, it is not difficult to revert the damage. Go into the page history and revert the changes. It is much faster that way as I am not always online.--Admin 20:11, 30 January 2014 (CET)

PlayMindcrack?[edit]

Will it be acceptable to start pages for the PlayMindcrack server? Furthermore, if you want to add a sub-wiki for the PlayMindcrack server, I'd gladly run and maintain it.

What do you mean start pages for it?--Admin 04:07, 19 February 2014 (CET)
I don't see any pages related to the PlayMindcrack server for example a wiki page for Barnyard Blitz etc. and was wondering if it is OK to make pages about things on the PlayMindcrack server. --User:steakoutpro 20:49, 19 February 2014 (GMT/UTC)
There is a page for PlayMindcrack. If you can expand on that, go ahead.--Admin 02:31, 20 February 2014 (CET)

Admin request[edit]

Talk:Main_Page#lower-alpha 88.104.19.233 01:21, 22 February 2014 (CET)

I am not all happy about the lack of attributions to these copied templates. Do not simply "copy it over."--Admin 16:24, 22 February 2014 (CET)
Er, I seriously doubt there is any copyright concern with the letters of the alphabet, "a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p..." etc O_O
But sure, whatever; just trying to help in passing. Best wishes to you, 88.104.17.72 11:32, 26 February 2014 (CET)

TheMogMiner[edit]

I'm contemplating creating a page for @TheMogMiner to document the confusion that occurred in December 2013. I don't intend to create a page for all Mojang employees, just those that may significant within MindCrack. Jeb, for example, hasn't ever mentioned MindCrack as a community. Thoughts? Mgt98 (talk) 20:57, 8 April 2014 (CEST)

I don't see the confusion as significant to MindCrack. Was MindCrack affected by this at all?--Admin 21:11, 8 April 2014 (CEST)
Long term, no, MindCrack was not affected. Guude, generikb, Doc, Baj and possibly others commented on the situation. His reaction is/was a significant happening in the Minecraft community, even. There was close to 1000 comments in the Mindcrack sub-reddit in the space of a few hours. Mgt98 (talk) 21:28, 8 April 2014 (CEST)
You can create a section under Feed the Beast if you have enough references for this. TheMogMiner does not need a page of his own.--Admin 11:20, 21 April 2014 (CEST)

Requested account[edit]

Hey, thanks for replying. 30 seconds after sending that request, I found out I already had an account here, being this one, and solved the problem that way (without an account, I couldn't leave links. Weird, huh?)

People who 'just' played[edit]

Shyreeyam played with Guude to build his statue in mindcrack just recently thejims played last year

alcboulderfist just played last june (as in 2014)

They aren't the "core" members even if they are active.--Admin 22:34, 15 June 2014 (CEST)

Requests For New Skin Files[edit]

 • AnderZEL's derpy skin if you if you are able to.
 • AnderZEL's current skin which is shaded different. He has used it for the last week. Not sure why.
 • Aureylian's skin with red hair.
 • AvidyaZEN's 1.8 skin, though it seems he is no longer using it.
 • BlameTC's suit skin.
 • Etho's 1.8 skin.
 • Pakratt0013's 1.8 skin.
 • Sevadus' and WesWilson's skins.

Thanks! -Mgt98 (talk) 09:52, 21 June 2014 (CEST)

I don't have the ability to retrieve old skin files. Do you have them saved?--Admin 16:48, 21 June 2014 (CEST)
No, unfortunately I don't. This skin archiving site is buggy and doesn't seem to be working for Anders, but it evidently works for Guude. -Mgt98 (talk) 17:23, 21 June 2014 (CEST)
Oh! I'm a nerd and decided to save as many skins as I could find! I have a looooad of old skins that can be uploaded. Just let me know how you'd like me to do it. --Mega (talk) 00:14, 22 June 2014 (CEST)
I am going to write a script to automate this process. I had been creating the wiki's skin images by hand but it would be very tedious to do this en masse. I plan to create a form that allows you to upload skin files and convert it for use on the wiki.--Admin 21:31, 22 June 2014 (CEST)
Alright, I'll stick around the Recent Changes page until I see it done. --Mega (talk) 21:37, 22 June 2014 (CEST)
Here's the preliminary setup. It currently only renders the basic 64x32 skin without accessories. What do you think of it so far?--Admin 00:27, 23 June 2014 (CEST)
Do you intend for the accessories to be 3D, like Biffa or flat like SethBling? -Mgt98 (talk) 01:05, 23 June 2014 (CEST)
3D, since it would be so much easier to render it when it can be automatic. For 1.8 skins, I haven't found a way to render the skin without it looking weird so they are planned to remain flat.--Admin 01:10, 23 June 2014 (CEST)
Uh... yeah, I made the Anderps skin and then saved it to my desktop to upload on here but it's not in a format that can be uploaded. =/
You must save it as a PNG file. Some browsers will default to save the skinConvert.php name.--Admin 01:52, 23 June 2014 (CEST)
It only gives me two options: "PHP File (.php)" or "All Files" which just puts it as a .php. On an unrelated note - I keep forgetting to put my signature down when I reply with this, sorry. --Mega (talk) 01:58, 23 June 2014 (CEST)
Actually, never mind. I just had to rename it. I'm dumb sometimes. --Mega (talk) 02:00, 23 June 2014 (CEST)
There was a mistake with my previous code and I just added the ability to render the hat. You can reupload the skins with the updated code.--Admin 03:12, 23 June 2014 (CEST)
There seems to be a slight difference with these new skin files and the old ones - in that the actual skin is in a different position than the originals. I noticed when comparing Doc's old skins.--Mega (talk) 04:44, 23 June 2014 (CEST)
A long time ago I aligned the skin to the right disregarding transparency, which is wrong.--Admin 04:50, 23 June 2014 (CEST)
Requests for file name changes:
"Aureylian skin" to "Aureylian skin old"
"Aurelian skin" to "Aureylian skin"
"Paulsoaresjr scientist png" to "Paulsoaresjr scientist"
Thanks -Mgt98 (talk) 07:28, 23 June 2014 (CEST)

Minor fix: Transparencies created on the body of the skin will now be black instead of transparent.--Admin 10:28, 28 June 2014 (CEST)

Alright, hi. I've been gone practically all day and didn't realize UHC 17 has begun. I was wondering if there was a way to do something similar with this, only to make the avatars... I might just be dumb and not know how to probably simply make them, but I did notice that AnderZEL was using his "shaded," skin this season, a skin without an avatar. Thanks in advance for either creating a similar script or just teaching me to be less dumb. --Mega (talk) 07:32, 3 July 2014 (CEST)

The way I made the avatars is to grab the original skin and crop two squares from it, one is the face and the other is the overlay, both of them is 8x8 in size. I put the two together and resize that to 32x32. In most image software, you have to disable image blurring when resizing. I might make a script when I have the time.--Admin 07:49, 3 July 2014 (CEST)

Alright, I just made a quick edit to my script to generate a Minecraft avatar for this site. It is on the same webpage.--Admin 01:06, 8 July 2014 (CEST)

I finally took the time to write the script for 64x64 skins. Check it out.--Admin 06:34, 27 August 2014 (CEST)

I found a problem where the back of the head doesn't get it's accessories loaded.--Mega (talk) 04:15, 29 August 2014 (CEST)
Thanks for pointing it out. It should be fixed now.--Admin 04:54, 29 August 2014 (CEST)

I continue to have difficulties getting the image to render properly in a web browser. Saving it into a temporary image file works a lot better. In the skinForm.php page, it will show you the most recent generated image. After you generate a new image, go back to the form page and refresh the page to get a properly rendered image.--Admin 05:48, 30 August 2014 (CEST)

 • "Docm77 World Cup" to "Docm77 patriotic skin clean", or something similar
 • "Docm77 Lederhosen" to "Docm77 patriotic skin cover", or something similar
 • "Etho clean" to "Etho skin clean", and "Etho covered" to "Etho skin cover", unless the naming of this image was intended to prevent it from being using in Template:Skin
 • "Mhykol skin old" to "Mhykol skin UHC"
 • "Mhykol skin old old" to "Mhykol skin old" or "Mhykol skin glasses"
 • "Pakratt0013 new" to "Pakratt0013 skin cover". No clean version uploaded yet
 • Possibly "Pakratt0013 avatar 1.8" to "Pakratt0013", and if so, the current "Pakratt0013" to "Pakratt0013 avatar old"
 • "Pakratt0013 skin old" to "Pakratt pondery skin", or something similar
 • "Vechs casual skin clean" to "Vechs test1 skin clean", or something similar
 • "Vechs casual skin covered" to "Vechs test1 skin cover", or something similar
 • "Vechs less detailed skin clean" to "Vechs test2 skin clean", or something similar
 • "Vechs less detailed skin covered" to "Vechs test2 skin cover", or something similar
 • Relevant avatar "Vechs_.png" to "Vechs test2 avatar", or something similar
 • "Vechs skin" to "Vechs skin clean"
 • "Vechs skin covered" to "Vechs skin cover"
 • "Grumm skin covered" to "Grumm skin cover". No clean version uploaded yet
 • "Generikb halloween skin" deleted. Duplicate of "Generikb Halloween"
 • "BlameTC halloween skin" to "BlameTC Halloween" for consistency

As for Dinnerbone, and OMGchad, who have made new skins for 1.8 that don't use the outerlayer, do they require both clean and cover uploads?

IRL Photos

 • Delete "Chad.JPG" and "SevadusIRL.png". Both are low quality images currently not being used on their pages.
 • Move "BE2mNBdCQAAUKC .jpg" to something relevant such as "JustVan IRL". I can't find the source for this image.

I've enabled the ability for users to rename files. See if it works for you.--Admin 00:32, 30 August 2014 (CEST)
No, I don't think I can rename files at the moment. Though, I can protect pages right now, which is something I didn't notice before. -Mgt98 (talk) 06:12, 30 August 2014 (CEST)
Do you have the option to "Move"? The way renaming works is you "move" the file to a new name, with or without a redirect. If the file isn't being used it doesn't need a redirect. --Atharsea (talk) 06:16, 30 August 2014 (CEST)
Currently getting this. :) -Mgt98 (talk) 06:33, 30 August 2014 (CEST)
I've enabled the ability for users to move any page and file now. See if it works.--Admin 07:24, 30 August 2014 (CEST)
Any file move I make currently leaves a redirect without any other options. Is this okay? -Mgt98 (talk) 11:43, 1 September 2014 (CEST)

About the trivia part in UHC[edit]

"Of these, CaptainSparklez, Coestar and Sevadus have played only one UHC thus far." ~~Captainsparklez has played twice already (if counting unofficial #ForTheKids)Zelbri (talk) 17:37, 21 September 2014 (CEST)

I'm not the one editing that section and I do not keep myself updated on UHC. You should bring that up in the talk page of UHC or edit that in yourself.--Admin 18:51, 21 September 2014 (CEST)

Docm77´s page is blank[edit]

http://mindcrack.altervista.org/wiki/Docm77

Could you elaborate? The page loads fine when I view it. Mgt98 (talk) 03:09, 6 December 2014 (CET)

source of map?[edit]

How did you get the map for File:Woolopolis.png?? McLennonSon (talk) 11:44, 18 December 2014 (CET)

It appears the image was created using Cartograph G. Mgt98 (talk) 14:01, 18 December 2014 (CET)

New Additions?[edit]

Would it be okay to add any/all of these additions?

 • Hermitcraft Pranks
 • Links to the Hermitcraft side of this wiki on the home page (similar to what has been done for Mindcrack)
 • ZipKrowd (This server is connected to both Mindcrack and Hermitcraft through several members, and there is no good wiki for it)

I figured I would ask if these could be added instead of just doing it. Thanks for your time.

I don't know how significant pranks have been on the HermitCraft server, but feel free to create the page. ZipKrowd has had a large, ever changing group. In the past, JL has held contests to allow fans to join as members for a predefined amount of time. Longstanding members such as bananen, CodeRaider, marci4, milkYw4i, Panda4994, Pommes, preisi, and Wubbi may warrant a page. I'm not sure if those member pages should be located at a ZipKrowd/PAGENAME location. --Mgt98 (talk) 06:57, 6 February 2015 (CET)

I honestly don't know how to go about creating a page for Hermitcraft pranks without having to add them to Mindcrack pranks. As for ZipKrowd, I think that all current and former members should have a page because that is what has been done for every other members of any server this wiki covers, no matter how little they played on it.
I will allow ZipKrowd on this wiki. Follow the same conventions as in the HermitCraft section. For those invited only for a limited time, it's best to put them in a single page about the contests for now. For prank wars, use this format:

You can check out existing pages for examples.--Admin 15:48, 26 February 2015 (CET)

Skin not loading[edit]

Hey guys.

"h1web"

does not load the skin. could you fix that?

What are you talking about?--Admin 15:48, 26 February 2015 (CET)

http://mindcrack.altervista.org/skin/index.php?member=h1web

Mojang changed the way they handle skins. My skin viewer no longer works until I get the time to update my code. My web host is picky on what is permitted in the code since this is hosted for free so a fix may take a while.--Admin 17:26, 6 March 2015 (CET)

Rename?[edit]

Now that ZipKrowd is being added to the list of servers we cover, is a renaming of the website in order? The main point of this site is to connect people with information, so I believe that advertising our expansion would bring more people here. This would be especially useful because it would bring people who know a lot about the group, and thus would be very helpful in adding information. A renaming could also warrant a change in the home page, but that can be discussed later.

P.S. Thanks for allowing me to add this group in the first place.

UHC Season 21 section has broken the rest of the page.[edit]

Whoever edited the UHC section last broke the page. Under the Deaths table in the Season 21, all of the sections that used to follow it are now inside the table, so the page stops after the deaths table and you have to open the table to see things like most deaths, most wins, trivia, etc. Would someone be able to fix this? I would do it, but I have no idea what I am doing and don't want to do anymore damage.

The problem has been resolved. -Mgt98 (talk) 12:25, 12 July 2015 (CEST)

VintageBeef's active game list[edit]

You formatted the text incorrectly.--Admin 19:00, 30 March 2016 (CEST)

Add Hii(Chiblee) as a guest[edit]

Hii aka Chiblee joined Pause on the server during his Fancy Friday stream on April 1, 2016.

Thank you for notifying me of this. Though, I'm not entirely sure if it is an April Fools. mgt98 (talk) 14:55, 2 April 2016 (CEST)

Personal Info Removal Request[edit]

I'd like to request that the page about me is removed or altered to remove personal information. I'm not comfortable with my personal information, accurate or not, being compiled as it is. I can verify via Twitter, if necessary. Coestar (talk) 23:55, 19 February 2019 (CET)

Recent Spam Accounts[edit]

In the past 3 days there has been two new accounts made that each added a non-English spam page and it's possible more will be made, they should be banned. Since I don't remember seeing anything say it before, is this the right place to report spam accounts? --Stevetheclimber (talk) 01:13, 26 August 2019 (CEST)
