PurpleNepenthe (pur-puhl ni-pen-thee), also known simply as Purple, is a Let's Play commentator and a former active member of the defunct MindCrack Fan Server. Purple was invited to join the server on June 2012 by KingNewbs after Bree reminded him to invite her.[1] After the shutdown of the Fan Server, Purple had continued to do Let's Plays as usual. She had a six-month hiatus due to a broken computer and a busy life but returned on 19 June 2013.[2]

Purple primarily plays Minecraft. Her YouTube channel, Trichromatica, is shared among herself and her two children, HatsuneMiku01 and MikiSFA2. Let's Play series include:

Purple initially played Minecraft only in Peaceful difficulty because she was too afraid to play in survival. She tends to hide during the dark and prefers to have someone watch her back.[3] She does not consider herself a gamer and mainly plays Minecraft to relax.[4] She often calls anything that tries to kill her "evil."[5]

MindCrack Fan Server[edit]

Before the 1.5 map reset, Purple had a plot in the Alpine Valley neighborhood of Blockhaven. One day, Purple went into people's plots and organized their items. She left signs signed under the name "Domestic Desperado." thegardnerd responded by disorganizing her items.[6] She had a remote base that she named "Purple's Pad" down the Orange tunnel. It was an island shaped into a giant lily pad. A flower,[7] a dragonfly,[8] and a turtle[9] had been constructed on it. Purple lived in the "western-themed" town in the most recent map.[10] She claimed two villages with BigGunn outside spawn.[11][12]
