Members List

My earlier edits were intending on making the page similar to the list of MindCrack members. HermitCraft season 1 (with the seed "4"), has 40 player.dat files. If all were to be listed, the list would be very long. Inactive members should be listed elsewhere on the page. Mgt98 (talk) 07:33, 13 October 2013 (CEST)

Many of them were camera/alternative accounts, which are listed in a separate section. I wasn't bothered to update them since they weren't that important. But your removal of some active people like Aureylian, Cil, etc. makes me question if you know who are actually active or not. Your inclusion of FTB-specific members was not correct; they aren't members of HermitCraft. Monkeyfarm shouldn't even be on the list of MindCrack members anyway but I'll leave it alone until he becomes active again. I've structured HermitCraft differently from MindCrack, notably clumping active/inactive/former members into one table. If you checked the page history, it is the way I wanted for this specific page. The Template:Lp was used to denote their activity. That was removed after the reset when inactive members started playing in the new map. I am currently following HermitCraft 2.0 closely, more so than MindCrack, so I can tell who are active or not.--Admin 07:53, 13 October 2013 (CEST)

I messaged the moderator of the subreddit and he said the sidebar is the full list of members. Aurey, Spoon, King Happy, Unhost ect are considered inactive. Not sure if they're on the whitelist though. Mgt98 (talk) 08:02, 13 October 2013 (CEST)

Who's he? His criteria for inactivity is rather low and inconsistent. King_Happy released his FTB episode only four days ago and Sp00n's last HermitCraft video was a month ago. For this wiki, I would not consider a month of absence "inactive"; three months minimum would be my requirement in here, even more if they are actively producing content. Biffa clearly stated that FTB members aren't HermitCraft members so I'm sticking to his word.--Admin 08:22, 13 October 2013 (CEST)

Minecraft Version

It would be nice if we could keep track of what version the Hermit Craft server is running.

Why would it be nice? HermitCraft has not been using the snapshots. It typically uses the latest release version, the most recent one I saw being 1.7.7.--Admin 02:32, 15 June 2014 (CEST)

Hermitcr4ft

They also employed command blocks to disable the enderman grieving ability. whenever the command block detected an enderman, it placed a barrier block in his hands. Vanilla Survival Season 4 (2016)

Season 4 was special because it coincided with the release of Minecraft 1.9. Minecraft 1.9 was a long awaited and much-anticipated release with many new features including armor stands and shields and two-hand wielding.--Howarthe (talk) 23:51, 9 July 2016 (CEST)

Another special thing about this season was that since the elytra was a new feature with 1.9, and it would be very popular and difficult for everyone to find one, they changed the rules of the game so that the ender dragon would drop an elytra whenever it was killed. --Howarthe (talk) 21:11, 10 July 2016 (CEST)
