Team GOB is the trio consisting Guude, VintageBeef and OMGchad. The team was formed in January 2015 for their playthrough of the Minecraft CTM map "Monstrosity" by ColdFusionGaming. The team name was suggested by VintageBeef at the beginning of the first episode.[1]

The team flair, made by subreddit moderator pajam, is a play on the British/Australian slang for mouth, "gob" or "gobber", and was first available on /r/mindcrack on 12 February 2015.[2] The design was chosen in a public poll on 18 January 2015.[3]
