ImTeras, more commonly known as TerasHD, ImTerasHD, simply Teras, or his personal name Joel Magnusson,[a] is a Swedish-Icelandic[5] Let's Play commentator well-known for creating many designs used by the members of Mindcrack and HermitCraft.

Biography[edit]

Teras was born in Sweden and raised in Iceland.[5] He later moved back to Sweden, and currently lives in Tjörn.[6][7] He describes Icelandic as his mother tongue.[8]

Teras began creating graphic design videos on his secondary channel, "TerasHD". He was introduced to gaming videos through AdamMontoya (SeaNanners), and started his own Let's Plays after watching BdoubleO100.[24]

In September 2013, Teras had been tweeting many clues about the new member, giving the implication that he was using the account NewMindcracker, and therefore would be joining the Mindcrack Server.[25] After the massive hype that was generated, Teras responded stating he was not the new member.[26]

In January 2014, Teras started PixelLeague, a private server using the Pixelmon Minecraft mod, which many Mindcrack and HermitCraft members played on.
