The twenty-sixth season of Mindcrack Ultra Hardcore is a fight to the death between nine teams of two. The world border begins at 1600x1600, shrinking down to 1x1 over the course of three hours.
The first episode was released on 30 September 2016. Videos were uploaded exclusively to Twitch to launch their new video upload feature.[2]

This season featured 18 Mindcrackers. This season was Millbee and Zisteau's return to UHC, with Millbee having last participated in season 20 and Zisteau's previous official season being season 15.
