Nebris, also known as nebris88, or his personal name Christopher "Chris" Ray,[3] is an American Let's Play commentator and a member of Mindcrack since January 2011, having joined the Mindcrack Server after winning the first contest.

Biography[edit]
Nebris was originally from Pittsburgh,[4] Pennsylvania but is currently living in Boston, Massachusetts.[5] As of March 2012, he works as a Java developer for West Interactive.[6]
According to Nebris himself, the name "Nebris" was based off the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime character named "Tabris".[7] The "88" in Nebris' YouTube name comes from his favorite poker hand: the pair of 8's, also called the "snowmen."[1]
Nebris made his first public appearance at PAX East 2013.[8]

Nebris had an old Let's Play on Terraria titled "Terrariacrack!" in which he played along with Guude. The series stopped because they became burned out playing the game.[10] Nebris has three seasons of Let's Play in Minecraft titled CobbleHATERz, a challenge to survive in the game without using Cobblestone at all.[11] He played along with mcgamer, Pakratt0013, and rayman86, a member of the defunct MindCrack Fan Server. Nebris has a partnership on YouTube with RPM Networks, which allows more targeted advertising to make more revenue.[12]

Nebris is constantly being referred to as the villain and a cheater. He obtained the status of a cheater in season 2 when he managed to harvest a large number of Music Discs and abused a piston duplication glitch to duplicate diamonds.[13][14] Guude has called him a cheater ever since. In the early days of season 3, when he was the town planner for the spawn village, he had set out strict building codes for the small plots people had. Nebris chose the largest plot of the village and built a large house on it.[15] Many of his actions confirm his status as the villain and a cheater, including harvesting excessive amounts of accessible glowstone near people's portals for his underground fortress.[16]
Minecraft skin[edit]
Nebris' Minecraft skin is custom-made. He made the skin to look like him. The face is what Nebris calls the "do not want look."[17]
