The Ender Dragon is Minecraft's first boss mob and uniquely spawns in The End only once. The slaying of the Ender Dragon has become important events on most survival multiplayer servers and MindCrack is no exception.

Season 3[edit]

The event was held on 4 April 2012. Prior to that day, Guude had the End disabled to prevent anyone from entering the dimension prematurely. The event was done on Guude's 300th MindCrack video and 1000th YouTube video. The goal is to slay the dragon without swords or bows and arrows. The group initially entered the End but the Ender Dragon never spawned. Guude then deleted the End and the group reentered the End with the Ender Dragon properly spawned. The Ender Dragon dropped a Dragon Egg upon death. The Egg is constantly referred by Guude as VintageBeef's child. It comes from Beef saying he hit the Dragon in her vagina and Nebris noting that is how the Dragon drops her egg.[1] The Egg has exchanged hands many times, even "kidnapped" by one of the members on the server. Guude is the last person to have the Egg.[2] The Egg was hidden away in a chest in the mineshaft beneath Guude's mountain home. The old End files with the missing Ender Dragon are still present in the world download of Season 3. It is located in the folder DIM1-backup.

MindCrack Fan Server[edit]

The event on the MindCrack Fan Server was held on Sunday, 29 April 2012. A giant Enderman head was built at the Blockhaven town center to announce this event.[5] Everyone was to meet at DireDwarf's/Jfrancisanimator's base, which has been the only easily accessible portal to reach the End.

Season 4[edit]

The event was held on Friday, 5 July 2013, five days after the Season 4 world was created. The group first traveled through the night, using Eye of Enders to search for the stronghold. The dragon was fought and killed. After everyone returned the egg was placed in the town hall. Because some people were not recording a second take was done. Generikb accidentally caused the egg to disappear, starting a search for the egg. Guude recovered it and it was again placed in the town hall. The egg was taken at an unknown time by BlameTC and hidden in the Dothraki Camp, and during a recent livestream, he revealed that it was stolen by an unknown character. After the Season 4 map download was released, the egg was discovered in one of generikb's furnaces[6].

Season 5[edit]

The Season 5 Dragon Fight occurred on 13 December 2014, almost 5 months after the beginning of the Season 5 world and 4 months after the first Wither kill. This long delay in the fight is due to the added World Border in the beginning of Season 5. The stronghold was found by mcgamer in November while he was caving and exploring,[7] and the Enderman farm was built by Docm77 and Etho the next day, while the Dragon was still alive.[8][9]

The event began with a 'Last Man Standing' game between the Mindcrackers. In this game, they each pillared up 32 blocks above the ground and tried to stay on their pillar longer than the others while using snowballs to fend off the Dragon. After PauseUnpause won Last Man Standing, they fought the Dragon and killed it near the entrance to the End. The egg was left on the portal after the event, while many joked it would later be stolen by Nebris.

Season 7[edit]

The Season 7 Dragon Fight occurred on 18 June 2019, 7 weeks after the beginning of the Season 7 world. The stronghold was found by Mookake on 31 May 2019 and all but one Eye of Ender were filled in until a date for the fight could be decided. The dragon egg was picked up by Pakratt0013, however while travelling on a path through the outer islands his mouse suddenly twitched to the side and he fell into the void, losing the egg forever.
