marc, also known as MidnightEnforcer, most notably as Marc_IRL, or his personal name Marc Watson, is an American employee of Mojang and currently their customer support manager.[3] Marc was whitelisted on the Mindcrack Server as a guest during the 2013 Mindcrack Marathon.[4]
Marc is also a member of the HermitCraft server. He joined in October 2012, using his MidnightEnforcer account.[5] He livestreamed four episodes to Twitch on three weekends of October. He has become inactive on the server, likely due to work.[6] He has not appeared since HermitCraft 2.0.
Biography[edit]
Marc was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.[7] He was raised Lutheran but never considered himself religious.[8]
Marc had lived in Washington for most of his life,[9] working for Mojang from home,[10] before moving to Solna,[11] Sweden to work from the Mojang office in August 2014.[12]
From 2009 to mid-2014, Marc attended all Penny Arcade Expo conventions, missing only PAX Australia 2013 to attend PlayOnCon 2013 instead.[13] He served as an "Enforcer" at PAX, a volunteer organizer and coordinator of the event. In August 2014, Marc was unable to attend PAX Prime 2014 due to being in Sweden at the time.[14][15] It was through his work at PAX Prime 2011 that Marc met members of Mojang. He later worked as a volunteer organizer at MineCon 2011[16] before officially joining Mojang and creating their customer support team in January 2012.[17]

- Marc's favorite video games are Minecraft, and The Elder Scrolls, Halo, and Mass Effect.
- Marc performs improv comedy.
- Marc also owns various other Minecraft accounts including Marc_IRL,[18] the novelty account YoloSwag4Lyfe,[19] and also the assorted "MHF" accounts used for map-making.[20]
- Marc is lactose intolerant.[21]
- Marc is proficient in Spanish,[22] having learned throughout his schooling.[23]
