adlingtont, known simply as ads, or his personal name Thomas,[3] is an English[4] Let's Play commentator and a member of Mindcrack since February 2011, having joined the Mindcrack Server through the first contest.[5][6]

Biography[edit]

Adlington is currently living in Ottawa, Ontario,[7] having moved there from the United Kingdom. Adlington had applied for a Canada work visa under the IEC (International Experience Canada) program, which would allow him to live and work in Canada for up to two years.[8] As of 2011, adlingtont was attending college.[9]

In December 2013, through the help of donations, adlingtont bought a new laptop allowing him to play Minecraft with higher video settings.[10]

Mindcrack[edit]

Adlingtont is reputed for his large-scale builds. On the Season 2 server, he build a domed dock and a sprawling castle; he later attempted an even larger castle on the Season 3 server. On the Season 4 server, adlingtont's first builds were an obsidian farm and a gold farm. Besides his castle, his main project was the Lucky Diamond Casino and Hotel at spawn.

Personal life[edit]

Adlingtont married in June 2013.[11] He says he is not religious to any amount, believing solely in science.[12]

Minecraft skin[edit]

Adlington's previous primary skin was a Minion from Despicable Me.[13] In October 2014, Adlington changed his skin to a customized character after expressing a desire to sell merchandise.[14][15][16]
