MineCon is an annual convention hosted by Mojang, the developer of Minecraft used to discuss builds in the community, or to discuss upcoming features or the tutorials of other builders (FyreUK, SethBling, etc.). The age ranged from 5 years old to 105 years old of the people who decided to attend MineCon 2011.

MineCon 2011[edit]

MineCon 2011 was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on 18 November 2011, at the Mandalay Bay. Minecraft 1.0 was officially released at this convention. Guude and BdoubleO100 both attended this convention, meeting in person for the first time. BlameTC, Coestar, paulsoaresjr and SethBling also attended, prior to joining the MindCrack server.

MineCon 2012[edit]

MineCon 2012 was held in Paris, France, at Disneyland Paris the weekend of 25-26 November 2012. At this convention MindCrack hosted a panel, with Guude, BdoubleO100, BlameTC, Docm77, generikb, kurtmac, PauseUnpause and Pyro_0 representing the server. The panel was livestreamed by GameSpot, and was uploaded to YouTube. generikb, SethBling, JL2579 and Cubehamster was part of the Redstone Creativity panel, which was also livestreamed by GameSpot and uploaded to YouTube. Doc, Guude and Pause participated in the IGN panel, and BTC participated in the map makers panel. SethBling also attended, prior to joining the MindCrack server.

London Meetups[edit]

A MindCrack meetup was held at a pub in London on the evening of November 29, 2012 after the 2012 MineCon. It was attended by Guude, Pause, Baj, and Oddmast from the MindCrack Fan Server. The following afternoon a meetup was held at the London Eye and later moved to an arcade. Shree also attended this second meetup.

MineCon 2013 was held in Orlando, Florida the weekend of 2-3 November 2013. This convention was preceded by the MindCrack Party. The MineCon Adventure Map, featuring voice acting by the MindCrack members, was released on the first day of MineCon. Aureylian, OMGchad and sevadus attended prior to joining the MindCrack Server and therefore did not participate in the panel.

The MindCrack panel at MineCon was held the second day.

MineCon 2016[edit]

MineCon 2016 was held in Anaheim, California during the weekend of 24-25 September. Mindcrack hosted a panel which was livestreamed to Periscope and also recorded to later uploaded to YouTube. A 24 hour marathon held on 20 August helped raise the funds needed to send members to the convention. Episodes 164 and 165 of the Mindcrack Podcast were both recorded live in what was dubbed the "Crack House", where a number of Mindcrackers stayed.
